We make audiobooks for people who listen closely.

Kenya is an audiobook publisher. We produce classics in immersive 3D sound with human narrators, build a growing library of classics voiced by AI, and write original nonfiction designed for listening.

How we make our audiobooks

We build the sound around the story.

We don’t just record a book. We stage it: we choose the text, cast the voices, write the music and mix everything around you, so that when you put your headphones on, the story happens in the room.

  1. We choose the book

We pick classics that come alive when read aloud and adapt each text for performance.

  2. We cast the voices

We bring actors into the studio to perform the book; some titles bring two narrators together.

  3. We compose the music

We write an original score for every story, shaped to its pace and its silences.

  4. We mix it around you

We place voice, music and effects in a binaural 3D mix: steps behind you, rain overhead, a voice at your shoulder.

Human narration

3D Sound

Actors perform our 3D catalog. Each title names its narrators, the way a film names its cast.

AI voice

Classics and Originals

Each AI-narrated title is clearly labelled as AI, here and on every platform.

The cast

Human or AI, always credited. Always labelled.

13 actors perform the 3D catalog. You will find each of them credited on the titles they narrate.
